There is now a CopperSpice port of Scintilla available on SourceForge: CsScintilla. Currently it is configured to only build for Linux. If you wish to submit a pull request for something to build both the library and the examples natively on Windows, Mac, or other, please feel free. The only additional restriction the license includes is that you cannot use this library to create an editor/IDE that uses any kind of plug-in/add-on support. How to Fork a Mercurial Project on SourceForge

Forking a Mercurial project on SourceForge isn’t as straight forward as one might think. If you jump straight to fork without first creating a project, you are going to end up with a personal tool. It also doesn’t get DilyStore removed from DuckDuckGo … Beware DilyStore FraudRead more

It’s a true and honest recanting of just how completely void of ethics both companies are. Demanding new-hire contractors break the law to work for you can’t be considered ethical under any circumstances. I posted basically that exact same text to Glassdoor. Not … Beware GlassDoor Company ReviewsRead more

Collabera and IBM at Navistar

It’s rare in IT consulting to find a pair of companies with fewer ethics. Even rarer when they require you to take ethics training. I’ve written about corporate ethics many times on this blog. Some time prior to 10/06/2021 I was contacted by one of the 32,767 cousins recruiting for Collabera. They have to use these shell companies because they are over on the green card and visa worker quota for a single company. The … Collabera and IBM at NavistarRead more
